Heat treatment

Main topics of the RUBIG seminars

  • What the designer, the manufacturer and the work preparer should know about steel and heat treatment.
  • Which basic technical rules should be observed.
  • Which standards and sources of information are available.
  • Areas of application and benefits of the different heat treatment processes.
  • How errors can be avoided during the planning of a component.
  • How heat treatment specifications should be shown in drawings.
  • What the ideal roadmap should look like from the component requirements to the right choice of material and heat treatment.
  • How a heat treatment should be ordered.

Knowledge and experience in the fields of materials science, heat treatment and failure analysis are extremely useful tools for planning, designing and manufacturing in order to avoid unpleasant surprises and errors in advance.

Knowing individual heat treatment processes is usually not enough on its own. A basic knowledge of heat treatment is therefore equally important for the designer and the manufacturer.

We offer our outstanding wealth of experience and our know-how in the form of courses and seminars. This gives you an ideal opportunity to acquire basic knowledge about the possibilities and limitations of heat treatment.

We offer these courses and trainings in various scopes, as multi-day events at our company as well as in shorter units for larger groups at your company.
