Our RUBIG site in Pilsting, Germany, has invested in an environmentally-aware alternative for its water treatment.
This "green" water treatment process, which uses a vacuum evaporator, means that up to 98% of the waste water can be treated, efficiently and safely, to become a pure, high quality, recyclable distillate. Due to the high quality of the distillate, it can be fed back into the process cycle. As a result of having an effective and automatic purification system, the facility has increased its availability, thereby achieving low energy consumption with maximal heat recovery. By using this process, RUBIG can save approximately 480,000 litres of grey water a year.
